Theatre 1 & 2
These courses introduce students to the basics of stage acting, including the history of theatre, acting exercises and improvisations, acting terminology, performing monologues, and scene work.
Theatre Production
This is the advanced acting course, which runs the school productions and competes in competitions. Students who are serious about acting and theatre must audition to join this class.
Technical Theatre
Technical Theatre introduces students to a practical approach to technical and production aspects. Students learn the skills needed to construct scenery, hang and focus lighting instruments, and implement a sound system. Students are trained in the usage of tools, lumber, machinery, theatre terminology, team-building exercises, and students learn the importance of safety through the correct usage of tools, common practices, and personal safety.
